Roxy&Clark
bio
Roxy&Clark is comprised of Seattle talents, Lesli Wood (guitar/piano/vocals) and Matt Menovcik (accordion). Singer/songwriter/guitarist, Roxy, is the front-woman for Seattle band, Ms. Led, as well as the pianist/vocalist for Seattle band, Saeta. Accordion player, Matt Menovcik, is best known as the front man for Seattle band, Saeta, as well as holding bass duties for ms. led.
Roxy&Clark deliver the energy and raw emotion their audience has come to expect. Honing their skills through a motto of being "willing to play anywhere", they have performed everywhere from some of the biggest stages in Seattle to street corners in San Francisco and LA. Their performances have garnered rave reviews including one SF reviewer's comments: "Roxy's fierce vocals and guitar to match, tempered with the lilting accordion made for an unsettlingly eerie, yet captivating set."

"Roxy & Clark is one of Lesli Wood's projects so right away I was interested. What I found, although completely different from ms. led musically, was wonderful acoustic songs in a Folk/Singer/Songwriter vein. The performances here are very good, as is the sound quality. I am thoroughly impressed with all 8 Roxy & Clark songs represented here. This DVD is well worth the asking price. The songs are beautiful, the performances solid, and the quality is above par for an independent DVD. A good buy." Mark Fisher http://www.1340mag.com
